Kamakazi Kanyon
the mission:
KAMIKAZE KANYON.... Looking for Adventure? This is the trip for you! Join the Abseil Africa guides on a full day's adrenaline pumping adventure. Hike up the rugged river gorge arriving at a series of rock pools. Here you can try your hand at Kloofing, jumping from 3 metres to 22 metres high. It might look a little crazy - it is!
the reward:
Abseil down a 65 metre cascade of water! Lean back off the edge and enter a world of radical abseiling!

Arrival times vary with numbers & fitness of groups
- 07:15 Meet at Abseil Africa, 1 Vredenburg Lane, Long Street (Above Long St Liquors)
- 07:45 depart from Cape Town.
- 08:45 arrival at Sunbird Lodge for a delicious breakfast
- 09:30 enter the Gorge for a +/- 45 minute walk into Kamikaze Kanyon
- 12:30 lunch at the pools, leading to abseil down Thunder Falls.
-17:30 arrival back at Sunbird Lodge for Sundowners (cash bar)
- 18:30 departure from Sunbird to Cape Town
- 19:15 arrival in Cape Town
