Kamikaze Kanyon
the mission:
KAMIKAZE KANYON.... Looking for Adventure? This is the trip for you! Join the Abseil Africa guides on a full day's adrenaline pumping adventure. Hike up the rugged river gorge arriving at a series of rock pools. Here you can try your hand at Kloofing, jumping from 3 meters to 22 meters high. It might look a little crazy - it is!
the reward:
Abseil down a 65 meter cascade of water! Lean back off the edge and enter a world of radical abseiling!
the rendezvous:
Thunder Falls. If the weather conditions are not suitable for the Thunder Falls, we do a smaller abseil called Bomb Drop.What to bring:
Hat
Sunblock
2 Liters of water
Swimming Costume
Small Rucksack to carry your lunch and harness (in winter your wet suit too)
Towel
Warm windbreaker
Comfortable walking shoes (your shoes will get wet)

Arrival times vary with numbers & fitness of groups
- 07:00 Meet at Abseil Africa, 1 Vredenburg Lane, 297 Long Street (Above Crazy Adventures)
- 07:15 depart from Cape Town.
- 08:30 arrival at Sunbird Lodge for a delicious breakfast
- 09:30 enter the Gorge for a +/- 30 minute walk to the first cliff jumping pool
- 12:30 lunch at the pools, leading to abseil down Thunder Falls.
-16:00 to 18:00 arrival back at Sunbird Lodge for Sundowners (cash bar)
- 18:30 departure from Sunbird to Cape Town
- 19:15 arrival in Cape Town

Table Mountain Abseil
We ARE abseiling off Table Mountain today.
For bookings give us a shout on 021 424 4760.
We would love to "THROW" you off the Mountain.
Note:
The Cableway will be closed for annual maintenance from July 22 – August 25, 2013.
BUT we will still do our combo where you hike up Table Mountain, do the abseil and then hike down for the complete adventure. If you want to meet us on top, please call the office to make a booking.
